I haven't wrote in this thing for a long time. I am so busy with school, soccer, and friends that I barely have time to write in here. I am going to do my best to keep up with it for now on.

Update...

In the past couple months a lot has happened. First, my best friend TJ departed for the Navy. I miss hanging out, but there comes a point in life where we need to grow up and start thinking about her future. I am proud of him and I know he will succeed in all he does. Second, my college soccer team at LMU made the NCAA tournament. The last time LMU soccer was in the tournament was in 2004. Winter break was really chill and a lot of fun. I hung out with the guys a lot and just enjoyed each others company. Christmas was amazing! I could not have asked for more! I loved being with the friends and family.

The super bowl was yesterday between the Saints and Colts. I am a Chargers fan, but since they did not make it this year to the superbowl I was cheering for the Saints! Although I am happy they won their first super bowl in franchise history I was sad for Peyton Manning because I believe he deserved a ring just for being such an amazing quarterback.

Anyways, I will try to update this as much as possible. PEACE!

Costa Rica: Day 5

The day was very hot and sunny. We had a game against Cartagena and ended up tying 2-2. I got an assist on the first goal. The referee was horrible and could not speak english so we basically got screwed over. The referee gave them a free penalty kick basically. Later that evening our team went out into the city of Tamarindo where all the spring breakers go. It was an epic night! HAHA

Costa Rica: Day 4

We woke up early for another long bus ride to the beaches of Costa Rica where we would stay for the next three days. This was our downtime day. Everyone just hung out at the pool, walked around on the beach, or the place to see what is around us. The hotel also gave us these $5 complimentary cards for each day so some of the guys were up at the casino making that money.

Costa Rica: Day 3

Another eventful day. First, we went zip-lining through the rainforest, which was a great experience. I was nervous and scared at first especially since I don't do well with heights lol. But after the first couple practice runs I got the hang of it and it was probably one of the best experiences I have had being able to be hundreds of feet in the air overlooking the beautiful view of the rainforest. Later on in the evening we had a game against San Carlos. We won the game 4-0 and I was awarded the Powerade Player of the Game haha. It was a fast pace and fun game to play. After the game the team just hung out for our last night in the rainforest of Costa Rica.

Costa Rica: Day 2

Another day filled with excitement and fun. We begun the day with some white water river rafting. It was my first time and it was such a thrilling experience. Although it was tiring I won't forget all those people falling off the rafts! HAHA. After the white water river rafting we had lunch at a restaurant on the way back to the hotel. Then we chilled at the hotel for awhile before we had dinner at the Baldi Hot Water Springs. Dinner was delicious and after we all just chilled in the hot springs and soaked it up.

Costa Rica: Day One

I was blessed to experience my spring break vacation in Costa Rica! It was my first time out of the country and it was one of the best times I have ever had in my life. Everything we did was very fun and entertaining. A very good team bonding experience. Well, the first day our flight left LAX at 1:00am early Saturday morning. We arrived in Costa Rica around 9am in the morning. It was about a 6 hour flight with a lay over in Sal Salvador. Once we arrived at the airport we were all scared our bags were going to be missing HAHA! Fortunately, all of our belongings made the flight too! First thing we did was travel in our bus to the restaurant where we had our opening presentation and lunch. The opening presentation included a latin dance, which was very entertaining. We spent our first three days in the rainforest at the Tilajari Hotel Resort. The weather was gloomy and would rain on and off lightly and sometimes hard, but it still was pretty warm. The first day we didn't do much except train a little, have dinner, and relax. Here are some pictures from the first day in Costa Rica...

North Carolina - National Champions

"I think if we played as well as we did the last couple games, at least it's a game," Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said. "The only thing I feel bad for is that it was the biggest crowd to ever see a college basketball game and it wasn't much of a game."

"You've got six NBA players that could be drafted in the first round or early second," Spartans guard Travis Walton said. "You're looking at a team that could probably beat the worst team in the NBA."

University of North Carolina went on to win their fifth national title against Michigan State University. Although I wanted UNC to win I wanted the game to be a little more exciting and competitive. Especially since it was the biggest crowd ever seen at a college basketball game. UNC dominated the game and Michigan State could not seem to prevent the Tar Heels talented players from scoring. What can you do when your opposing team starting line up are all players possibly being drafted in the NBA. The final score was 89-72. A solid year from UNC and a solid win.

Many people took part in the bracket of the NCAA tournament with their friends, co-workers, whoever. President Obama created his bracket and had UNC winning the national title. He is a big fan of UNC and visited their practice to shoot some hoops with them too.

Spring break 2009 was amazing. I could not have asked for a better spring break. It was a great journey to Costa Rica with my teammates, coaches, and administration. We spent nine days in Costa Rica; 3 days in the rainforest, 3 days at the beach, and 3 days in the capital San Jose! It was the most adventurous and exciting time of my life! I did things I never thought I would ever do. I was able to go white water river rafting, zip-lining through the forest, soak in hot springs, enjoy a cruise, visit a children's shelter, enjoy the city, and play some soccer games against professional teams. Costa Rica was definitely a life changing experience and I could not be anymore thankful and blessed to be able to experience such a great trip filled with many laughs and memories. I will update you more of each day. But for now it's light out! Goodnight!

It's that time of that year again, the one designated day to show your much love and appreciation to that special someone and people in general. This year I was blessed to spend Valentine's Day and my 20th birthday with the people who have been apart of my life. What better way than having a nice dinner with all your friends and family! My Birthday/Valentine's day started off by showing my roommate Kenny around SD since he is from Berkeley. This blog is a little late, but it's better late than never! haha. Last week to celebrate my birthday for Valentine's day my friends and I kicked off the celebration by going to Level 3 Nightclub in Hollywood where a couple groups from the show America's Best Dance Crew would perform and even UCI's very own CADC. We hit up Toe-Knee (Wildboyz & Victory Nightlife) and met up with him in Hollywood. TK ended up calling us "The Boyz Club" cause we were rolling deep with sausages! HAHA sorry TK! Since Toe-Knee was co-host of the event he was able to give us the celebrity treatment with a fast pass to the front of the line, a VIP booth, and a bottle! I haven't updated this thing in a long time. Well finals came by fast, but I did pretty well on them. Passed all my classes, so that's all I really care about. Winter break was crazyyyyy. Snowboard trip at Mtn. High and all the hanging out with friends was definitely needed. I sure did miss my friends so I was excited to see them. It was good to be home with the parents and just lay in my bed again! Break is over and semester two has started. Another 4 months of school ehh...Soccer is going really well. I'm really trying to step my game up this spring. My team is playing LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes so that will be two exciting games. We are also going to Costa Rica for spring break, which is going to be a fun time. We're going to play 4 professional teams, white water river rafting, zip lining through the forest, and visiting an orphanage. It's going to be a good experience and I'm definitely excited cause I have never been out of the country either! School is chill. I'm learning all that HTML stuff just now and how to design a webpage in my ISQM class haha. Besides school and soccer taking over my life like always I am just chilling enjoying college and enjoying my time in the city of angeles. well that is all for now I'll try to keep up with this thing.

I haven't updated this blog in awhile so here it is...

School has been alright, I have been trying my best to keep my grades up especially with soccer consuming up basically my life for right now. I am actually in San Francisco right now for soccer. We just had a game last night against Santa Clara. We were suppose to start the game at 8 but didn't even end up starting the game until like 9:30pm. By the time our game ended it was already 11:30pm, which is very late for a soccer game to end. We ended up tieing the game 2-2 although we should have won and the referee's screwed us once again. Our team this year is legit and we are 4-3-5, but we are much better than our record, and despite the fact that we played six teams in the top 20.

Today, we had a light training session because we have another game tomorrow against University of San Francisco. After our training we headed over to one of my teammates house who lives in San Francisco. On the way there I got to see the Golden Gate Park, Alcatraz, and Golden Gate Bridge. It was my first time to see the Golden Gate Bridge and it was pretty exciting that we got to cross the bridge with our bus LOL. Other than that I just have been chillen and getting rest for tomorrow's game.

A couple weeks ago, Toe-Knee of the Wildboyz and Victory Nightlife missed his flight to SD from New York so he ended up catching one to Los Angeles. LAX is basically where my school is and he asked if I could drop him off at the train station, but instead he ended up watching my game and then hitching a ride with my parents and I back to San DIego. It was good to see TK cause I haven't seen him in awhile. It's funny cause my brother and his brother use to hang out a lot and there was a time when TK and I use to hang out a good amount HAHAHA. It was a long ride home, but an interesting conversation made it a little more exciting than usual lol. TK and his 1700 dollar camera followed me everywhere I went. Basically, he was like paparazzi status and created a lot of attention to me LOL. But here are some of the pictures...

The Friday, which was the 10th of October, I met up with Bianca, Porky, James, Kirk, Keshia, and some of their friends at Knott's Scary Farm. I got there a little earlier than them so I was just waiting in my car. It was pretty funny because these mexican people got into a fight and that shit was crazy lol. There were a couple of good mazes that scared me pretty bad. I got scared on one of them that I even lost my phone hahaha. It was good to see some people from SD and I had a good time. On another note, Trevor James just turned 19 years old on the 14th of October. Congratulations as he is one step closer to becoming a man! LOL. Tj is one of my best friends so I decided to head down the Saturday night before his birthday to hang out. I was accompanied by Allyson and Cheryl aka the broncette's lol. We had a fun evening hanging out at TJs place and going to gravity hill. If you do not know what gravity hill is, basically it is a hill that you go down and there is a stop light. If you put your car in neutral your car goes backwards up the hill. It was my first time going and I couldn't believe it actually worked! haha. After gravity hill Tj, Marvin, and Kevin wanted to go to Mercy Road. I was too scared so I stayed in the car with Allyson, Cheryl, Ryan, Kay, and Jenn. Finally, the guys stopped pretending to be so hard cause they knew they weren't going to go all the way down in the first place. After walking a couple steps they came back up and we all just went home. I ended up sleeping at TJ's house cause I couldn't go home since I had a game the next day or my parents would have been pissed. Summer was probably one of the best summers I have had in awhile if not the best. I hung out with my friends A LOT. Going out till 3 in the morning just hanging out and chilling, fishing, kick backs, drink ups, and clubbing. Hawaii was definitely a highlight of my summer being with my teammates. It is nice to hang out with a different crowd other than your group of friends. Disneyland was basically the happiest place on earth especially after watching the Fantasmic show. Phantom of the Opera with Kim was good even though I bought cheap ass tickets and were on the highest level ever lol. Other highlights include the Del Mar Fair with Kim, hanging out at Rachel's house, 4th of July, and the three times I went to the beach haha, and getting to play with my brother in indoor soccer. It was definitely a good summer I must say, but I wish I spent more time with my parents. When I am up at school I miss them, but when I am home I forget to take advantage of the time I actually have with them. Especially my mom, she has been working so hard to give me all the support I could ever want or need. My mom is the best<3!>

School just started and as much as it feels good to be back in Los Angeles I miss San Diego, my family, and friends, and herrr. The first party to start off the year I would have to say was very fun and interesting haha. Thanks to Toe-Knee of the Wildboyz and Myron Marten of 21XL for taking care of my friends and I at the club. Club Avalon every Friday Night be there it is legit! This year is going to be tough, but I am definitely excited and looking forward to any challenges this year educationally and athletically. I can already tell it's going to be a good year because I am having a lot of more fun already. My roommates and I got an apartment dorm, which is not as great as having our own apartment but it beats living in those single dorms and an all male dorm. We even have a little living room and a kitchen so we have been cooking up a feast, but oh boy do I miss that cafeteria food! My classes are tough, but failure is not an option. I have a lot to make up for in soccer last season and hopefully this year I can finally live up to the standards and hype that was put on me last year. I worked really hard during double days and at times during the summer so hopefully it will pay off. My first 6 preseason games are against top 25 teams in the country. My first game is coming up this Friday against New Mexico and I am anxious to play. Honor the past, Value the Present, Create the Future.

Trevor James won two tickets to the Snoop Dogg & 311 concert at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. The original person he was suppose to take could not make it, and being the good friend that he is he asked me if I wanted to go. I accepted his offer gladly. Coincidentally, our friends Nicole and Kirsten were going to the same concert so we hitched a ride with them. It was a spontaneous night filled with a lot of fun, laughter, and memories. During the show Tj and I met this dad who was smoking a blunt all by himself. It was probably one of the coolest and funniest things I have seen. Must feel good to be a dad and still have the youth inside of him haha. On another note, there was this white girl who was pretty heavy that violated me physically. She grabbed my chest, balls, penis, and worst of all she kissed me on the cheek only fortunately! I still had a great time and it was definitely a night to remember! I went to Hawaii for 8 days because my club soccer team won our state championships and advanced to regionals, which were in Hawaii! Our main goal was to win the tournament, which we accomplished, than to enjoy Hawaii and what it has to offer. I had a great time enjoying the beautiful beach of Waikiki, and the other attractions as well. Thanks to Nikki and Katrina for showing me their neck of the woods, and the pain I suffered from walking those damn rocks! The weather was amazing as well as the beaches. Congrats to my sister! She just found out this morning that she was accepted to the nursing program at Cal State San Marcos. Out of the 400+ applicants only about 45 would be accepted and my sister was one of them! She works hard and really deserves it. I'm very proud of her. Good job sis!

LMU Golf Classic Fundraiser

I had to head back up to Los Angeles for a Golf Fundraiser for soccer. Honestly, I drove up two hours pretty much to just watch people try and kick a soccer ball into a grid that was 10 yards away for a good 5 hours. Although I felt as if they could have called someone else who was closer to the area it was chill. The worse part was being stuck in the horrific LA traffic on the way home.

Last Friday, later that evening all the guys and I went up to Meilani's house for a drink up and kick back and barbeque. It was really chill and we all had a good time. One of Meiliani's little brother's friend Darius was really drunk. He kept throwing up on himself and falling out of his chair. Sorry my blogs have been really out of order. But this is what went on last Friday...

Last Friday, the 16th of May, my friend Ryan Cabusao calls me at 8 in the morning to workout. We run up to hiltop, well at least I did, the hill was too challenging for Ryan Haha. It's ok in a couple of weeks he will be able to run up that damn thing. We worked out and chilled up there for about a couple hours. We were really hungry after, and I mentioned this place called Lucha Libre. I saw pictures of it on Alvin of the Wildboyz's blog. Looked pretty cool and a good place to eat so we decided to head there to eat, and then hit up the record stores. Ryan picked me up and we scooped up Girard too. The drive to the taco shop was very entertaining thanks to the amusement of Girard and Ryan! Check it out!

At first we were like WTF MATE!?! cause we put in quarters and knew the time couldn't be up already. So we check the parking meter and realize that Ryan put the quarters in the wrong parking meter! HAHAHA. I tried really hard not to laugh, but it was just too funny! Ryan could have tried to appeal it, but didn't want to go through all the work since it was only like a 30 dollar ticket. Unfortunately, Ryan lost 75 dollars the night before at the casino so he is a little short on cash!

We took the DUST OFF and flipped it upside down so it becomes really really cold. I'm sure you have all done it before too! haha. Well the plan was to spray his nipple, and then flip it back up and blow air to relieve any pain. But what we forgot that is when you flip it back over it still will spray cold air. Therefore, Ryan received the after shock! HAHA LOL

Ryan was showing me some David Blane videos and I think that is what encouraged to try and imitate him in this video. He had some technical difficulties at first, but managed to pull it off.

In this video Ryan sprays the DUST OFF in his hair. I don't know why, the man just likes to entertain himself. But the fumes get too crazy so cuhz had to stop. haha

That would conclude my Friday morning and day spent with Ryan and Girard! Haha good times. It's funny how we can always seem to entertain ourselves.

Today was the UEFA Champions League Finals for football (soccer). The winner would be crowned the best club team in Europe. Manchester United and Chelsea were the two teams competing in the championship match. I was in support of Chelsea, but many such as Ryan Nebreja, Ria Mae Pascual, and my teammate Roland Anderson were rooting for Manchester United. Manchester United was seen in red and Chelsea was wearing blue. It was a game of bloods vs. crips. I'm a crip so I was cheering on Chelsea. After regulation time the score remained 1-1 off goals from the best player in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo (Man U) and Frank Lampard (Chelsea). The teams went into overtime and remained scoreless. Unfortunately, one of Chelsea's best player, Drogba, was sent out of the game for slapping a player in the face. Penalty shots determined the fait of the best team in Europe. Shockingly, the best player in the world Cristiano Ronaldo missed his penalty kick. Chelsea had to make one last shot to be crowned the best team in Europe, but John Terry perhaps the best defender in the world hit the post. He slipped right as he shot the ball due to the wet conditions because of the rain. I am very bitter right now and still believe Chelsea should have won the game.

I just got back from the casino like ten minutes ago. Some of the guys felt like we needed to go out and do something. We had three options: club, beer pong, or the casino. Out of the three options the casino was something we barely do so that is what we chose to entertain us for the evening. We ended up going to Barona! WOO! haha it was a good night for some of us and for others it was not so great. Ryan, Girard, and I met up at the casino with Marvin, Jommellee, Meilani, Richard, and Alex. Out of all of us, only Jommelle and I came up. Jommellee won about 130 and I won 40! As much as I wanted to keep playing I knew I couldn't get greedy! It was Jommellee's first time and he came up big! Congrats! Well after the casino Ryan, Girard, and I ate at Santana's where we saw Drew Nguyen and Rachel Novales, who were intoxicated! HAHA. That would conclude my evening slash morning! I can't wait to go back next week!

Oh yeah! Today was a great day, but besides the winning I checked my grades online and I actually got good grades this semester compared to last semester! WOOO! I got one A, a B+, and three Bs! I'm still in shock lol

I haven't updated this in what seems like forever! I just have been really busy lately and lazy haha. Finally school came to a close for me on Thursday last week. It was exciting to begin my summer, yet sad at the same time to leave school. I had a good time at LMU for my first year although it could have been A LOT better, but it's cool I have three more years to build more friendships and create more memories! A couple of my teammates graduated this year; Adam, Trini, Stephen, and Tyler. I wish I could have made it out to see them walk, but San Diego was calling my name! Adam was our team captain and one of the greatest captains in the country for college soccer. Although we had a tough season he still kept his head up, and fought hard for our team. Anytime throughout my life I will look back, and if I had to define the word captain, I would say Adam. He really inspired me this year in soccer through everything, and I wish we could have played together another year. He actually signed a professional soccer contract with the San Jose Earthquakes of the Major League Soccer (MLS). Congrats to Adam and the rest of the guys!

My first year of summer vacation kicked off with a birthday dinner at Barona Casino for Mark Mariano's (aka fucking PORKY) 19th Birthday Celebration. We ate at a little cafe inside the casino called Sage Cafe. It was pretty delicious I must say and I ended up splitting a BLT sandwich with Girard. After the dinner we went up to the room that Porky rented for the night and chilled for awhile before we started gambling. Here are some pictures from the evening.
